THE   MINNEAPOLIS   SPORTS   HALL   OF   FAME

    Preserving the Sports History of North Ottawa County, Kansas

Annual Induction Ceremonies are held in May over the Memorial Day weekend.  The first such ceremony was held on May 23, 2015.   Plaques are presented to each inductee.  Duplicate plaques are made a part of the Minneapolis Sports Hall of Fame display at Minneapolis Junior/Senior High School.

Inductees are selected by vote from members of our Selection Committee from several communities, who have an interest in or connection to Minneapolis High School.  

All 45 previous Inductees in our first 7 classes are listed on another page which is found on this website.  Due to CoVid-19 Restrictions, the 2020 Class Induction Ceremony

was postponed for 1 year.  A combined Induction Ceremony for the Classes of 2020 & 2021 were held on 5/29/2021.

The Inductees for the Classes of 2020 & 2021 were chosen by our voting committee.  The Inductees for our Class of 2022 have also now been chosen and are also listed below in Alphabetical Order:

The 2022 Induction Ceremony (our 8th Class) will be held on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 2pm in the Minneapolis Junior Senior High School Auditorium in Minneapolis, Kansas.  All interested persons ARE INVITED to attend.
